Director Plans Bruce Springsteen Biopic Sequel Inspired by Beatles Films

The film "Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere" focuses narrowly on Bruce Springsteen's creation of the album "Nebraska," depicting his personal and professional struggles during that period with Jeremy Allen White portraying Springsteen. Director Scott Cooper is already considering a sequel, inspired by the multi-film approach to The Beatles’ story, with Springsteen reportedly supportive of further biopics exploring other parts of his life. While the movie captures the charisma of Springsteen’s live performances and features strong performances, especially by White and Jeremy Strong as manager Jon Landau, critics have given mixed reviews overall. Notably, a poorly received piece of dialogue from the trailer referring to Springsteen as a "repairman" was cut from the film, which was seen as a wise decision. White's vocal performances have been praised to the extent that even Springsteen was momentarily confused between the actor’s voice and his own.
