Teens Charged in Separate Shooting Incidents in NJ and VA

In Chesterfield County, Virginia, two teenagers, ages 16 and 17, have been arrested in connection with a shooting that left a man with life-threatening injuries. The suspects face charges of aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and attempted robbery. Meanwhile, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, two teens are charged with the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Brandon Romero. The incident occurred near Lee Avenue and Rutgers Street, resulting in the victim's death at the hospital. The suspects, also aged 16 and 17, face juvenile delinquency charges equivalent to murder and illegal weapons offenses if they were adults. The 17-year-old is in custody, while the 16-year-old remains at large.
