Seven Killed in Idaho Tour Van, Pickup Crash
A tour van carrying 14 people and a Dodge Ram pickup truck collided near Henry’s Lake State Park, about 16 miles west of Yellowstone National Park, resulting in seven deaths on Thursday night. The crash, which occurred just before 7:15 p.m., caused both vehicles to catch fire, killing six people from the van and the pickup truck driver. Emergency responders, including air ambulances and paramedics, arrived at the scene and transported the bodies to the Fremont County Coroner’s Office. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims or specified how many others were injured. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and U.S. Highway 20 was closed for several hours. Local and state agencies are working together to determine what led to the collision.
