South Carolina Homicide Suspects Arrested in Pennsylvania
Latesha Fields and Payton Deal, both wanted for a homicide in Duncan, South Carolina, were arrested at a Quality Inn in Lower Paxton Township, Pennsylvania, after police discovered a vehicle stolen from Charlotte, North Carolina, in the hotel parking lot. Authorities linked Fields and Deal to the recent homicide of Alexander Casull and found they were also wanted on additional felony charges, including weapons violations and grand larceny in South Carolina. The arrests were carried out without incident by the Lower Paxton Township Police and the Dauphin County Crisis Response Team. Both suspects were arraigned on charges of Receiving Stolen Property, denied bail, and are currently being held at Dauphin County Prison awaiting further court proceedings. Extradition details to South Carolina have not yet been released.
