Amorrow Morgan Joins Tennessee Basketball Coaching Staff

Amorrow Morgan has been hired as an assistant coach for the University of Tennessee men's basketball team, joining head coach Rick Barnes' staff. Morgan, a Memphis native, brings 12 years of collegiate coaching experience, including eight at the Division I level, with recent stints at Cal and Loyola-Chicago. Known for his recruiting skills, Morgan helped Cal secure top-12 transfer classes in 2023 and 2024 and played a pivotal role in signing standout players like Jeremiah Wilkinson and Jaylon Tyson. Morgan's coaching career has spanned several programs, and he is recognized for his energetic approach and ability to foster player development. Both Barnes and Morgan expressed excitement about his return to his home state and the opportunity to contribute to the Volunteers' ongoing success. Morgan replaces Rod Clark, who recently left for a position at Indiana.
