Seven Killed in Fiery Crash Near Yellowstone National Park
Seven people were killed when a pickup truck and a tour van collided near Yellowstone National Park in eastern Idaho, causing both vehicles to catch fire. The crash, which occurred just after 7:15 p.m. on U.S. Highway 20 near Henry’s Lake, claimed the lives of the pickup truck driver and six of the 14 people in the Mercedes van, which was transporting a tour group. Emergency services, including air ambulances, responded to the scene due to the severity of the incident, and eight additional people were hospitalized with injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and authorities have not yet released the names or nationalities of the victims. U.S. Highway 20 was closed for several hours following the crash but has since reopened. Further updates are expected as the investigation continues.
