Police Arrest Four More in Glasgow-Edinburgh Gang War, Totaling 24

Police have arrested four more men as part of an ongoing investigation into a violent gangland feud that began in Edinburgh and has spread to Glasgow, bringing the total number of arrests to 24 since March. The latest arrests followed raids at four properties in Glasgow and Govan, with two men charged in connection with fire-raising and organised crime-related breach of peace. Two additional arrests were made after a vehicle stop on Balmore Road, and further raids in eastern Scotland resulted in the seizure of cash and mobile phones. The offences under investigation include attempted murder, firebombings, and incidents involving drugs and firearms. Police report a decrease in violent incidents since ramping up intelligence-led patrols and assure the public they remain committed to bringing those responsible to justice. Detective Chief Superintendent David Ferry emphasized the importance of community support in tackling serious organised crime and preventing further violence.
