Kisnorbo appointed head coach of Yokohama F. Marinos

Patrick Kisnorbo has been appointed as the permanent head coach of Yokohama F Marinos after initially serving as interim boss following Steve Holland's dismissal. The Australian former defender and manager of Melbourne City, Troyes, and briefly Melbourne Victory, faces the challenge of lifting Marinos from the bottom of the J-League table after a disappointing start to the season. Kisnorbo succeeds fellow Australians Ange Postecoglou and Kevin Muscat, both of whom previously led the club to league titles.
