Whataburger Offers Free Breakfast, $75,000 in Grants for Texas Teachers May 5-9

During National Teacher Appreciation Week from May 5 to May 9, Whataburger is offering teachers and school staff a free breakfast entrée, such as a Taquito with Cheese, Breakfast on a Bun, or Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, between 5 and 9 a.m. at participating locations. To receive the free meal, educators must provide a valid school ID and order in-person, either dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru, as the offer is not available through the app or online. In addition to the breakfast giveaway, Whataburger is awarding $1,000 classroom grants to 75 teachers, totaling $75,000, as part of its 75th anniversary celebration. These WhataTeacher grants are designed to support teachers who make a positive impact in their schools and communities. The initiative is part of Whataburger's broader Feeding Student Success program, which aims to support education and alleviate food insecurity through scholarships, resource rooms, and community partnerships.
