Jeremy Strong, Mikey Madison Join The Social Reckoning
Jeremy Strong will portray an older Mark Zuckerberg in Aaron Sorkin’s upcoming companion film The Social Reckoning, which Sorkin wrote and will direct. The film dramatizes later controversies at Facebook/Meta and centers on whistleblower Frances Haugen teaming with Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horwitz to expose the company’s internal problems. Mikey Madison is set to play Haugen and Jeremy Allen White will portray Horwitz. Strong told The Hollywood Reporter he has not spoken with Jesse Eisenberg and that Eisenberg’s earlier portrayal “has nothing to do” with his own approach, calling Sorkin’s screenplay “one of the great scripts I’ve ever read.” The project, a companion piece to the 2010 film, is reportedly due in October 2026 and marks Strong’s third collaboration with Sorkin after Molly’s Game and The Trial of the Chicago 7.
