Conor Murray to Launch Rugby Podcast Oct 28
Former Ireland scrum-half Conor Murray (125 caps) will launch a new BBC Sounds podcast, The Ireland Rugby Social, co-hosted with BBC Sport NI’s Gavin Andrews; the first episodes will be available from 28 October. Murray promises weekly candid interviews, tactical breakdowns and behind-the-scenes stories as Ireland prepare for the autumn internationals and the 2026 Six Nations, saying “the shackles are off.” The inaugural episode will feature former Ireland and Ulster captain Rory Best revisiting Ireland’s 2016 win over New Zealand. Additional episodes are planned to coincide with the autumn internationals and the Six Nations to reflect on recent games and preview upcoming fixtures.
