Billups, Rozier in Mafia-Linked FBI Gambling Probe

The FBI announced a sweeping multi‑state gambling investigation tied to organized‑crime/Mafia families that has produced dozens of arrests and unsealed indictments in two related schemes involving tens of millions of dollars in alleged fraud. NBA figures Chauncey Billups, Terry Rozier and Damon Jones are among those implicated. Prosecutors allege Billups helped operate rigged, Mafia‑backed underground poker games, while Rozier is charged in a sports‑betting case accused of supplying inside information used to bet on at least seven NBA games during the 2023–24 season.
