Fatal Shootings Reported in New York and Arizona

In New York’s Adirondacks, 25-year-old Chloe S. Henry of Mooers — reported missing Sunday after last being seen with her husband, Keith A. Henry — was found shot to death Monday near Ridge Road in Chazy; investigators say Keith shot and killed her inside his vehicle near Bear Swamp Road and Ausable Point Road in the town of Peru, and he has been taken into custody for questioning. Separately in Flagstaff, Arizona, officers responding to a noise complaint about 4 a.m. on Oct. 19 heard a single gunshot at a Terrace Avenue home and spoke with resident Mea Brodie, who confirmed a gun had fired and attempted to close the door before being detained. Officers found her mother, Doris Brodie, dead in the living room from an apparent single gunshot wound; detectives executed a search warrant and say Mea Brodie has been arrested and is expected to face murder charges. Authorities in both cases say investigations are ongoing and have not released motives.
