Houston Donut Shop Owner Fatally Shoots Armed Robber

A suspected armed robber, described as wearing dark clothing and armed with a gun, was shot and killed by the owner of Snowflake Donuts in southeast Houston during an attempted robbery around 6:15 a.m. on Thursday. The owner, who was also armed, confronted and fatally shot the suspect, and police confirmed the suspect was deceased at the scene. No customers or employees were injured in the incident. Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage and investigating possible links to other recent robberies in the area, but no connections have been established. The store owner is not currently facing charges, but the case will be presented to a grand jury. The suspect has not yet been identified as the investigation continues.
