Neil Young Announces Album 'Talkin to the Trees', Critiques Elon Musk

Neil Young has announced his new album 'Talkin to the Trees' with his band The Chrome Hearts, set for release in mid-June. The album features members Spooner Oldham, Micah Nelson, Corey McCormick, and Anthony LoGerfo, and was co-produced by Young and Lou Adler. A key track, 'Let's Roll Again,' debuted at the Light Up the Blues benefit concert, uses the melody of 'This Land Is Your Land,' and serves as both a call for American car companies to make safer, cleaner vehicles and a pointed critique of Elon Musk and Tesla. The song’s lyrics urge the industry to prioritize public safety and environmental responsibility, while also highlighting that China is ahead in clean car manufacturing. The album, previewed with the single 'Big Change' earlier this year, is described as a creative leap forward for Young as he enters his sixth decade in music. Young and The Chrome Hearts will tour in support of the album this summer.
