Collegiate Pitchers Claim Weekly Conference Honors

Several collegiate pitchers across the United States earned Pitcher of the Week honors for their recent performances. Southern Miss’s JB Middleton was named Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week after matching his career highs in innings and strikeouts, leading the conference in ERA and strikeouts. Binghamton’s Brianna Roberts collected her third America East Pitcher of the Week award this season after a shutout against UMass Lowell. Katlyn Conner of Wallace Community College received the ACCC Pitcher of the Week honor for her 11-strikeout, no-walk performance, extending her team's win streak. UNC Asheville’s Clay Edmondson was recognized as Big South Conference Starting Pitcher of the Week for his strong outing against High Point. Clemson’s Drew Titsworth was named ACC Pitcher of the Week after six scoreless innings in his first career start to help defeat No. 17 Louisville.
