Jordan Brand is introducing the Air Jordan 7 RM, a modernized, low-top version of the classic Air Jordan 7, set to debut in several new colorways such as 'Bred' and 'Black/Wolf Grey.' The updated model features a lower ankle cut, breathable mesh paneling, a reinforced TPU heel counter, and omits the traditional inner bootie for a sleeker fit. Retaining core elements like the AJ7’s original midsole and forefoot shape, the RM version blends heritage with contemporary design, including Nike Air branding on the heel. The 'Bred' colorway pays homage to classic Jordan aesthetics with its black and red palette and will release in Summer 2025 at a lower price point than standard retros. The RM series aims to make legacy Jordans more durable and versatile for action sports, continuing the brand’s strategy of refreshing its iconic silhouettes. This approach has already proven successful with the Air Jordan 4 RM and is expected to attract both longtime fans and new audiences.
