Coleraine Strengthens Squad with Multiple Key Signings Including Airdrie Midfielder
Coleraine FC has strengthened its squad with several new signings ahead of the upcoming season, including the acquisition of Airdrie forward Lewis McGregor for an undisclosed fee. McGregor, who scored 11 goals in 93 appearances for Airdrie, joins the Northern Irish side following the club record sale of Ben Wilson by Airdrie earlier. Additionally, Coleraine has signed 24-year-old defender Adam Long on a multi-year deal; Long brings a physical presence as a left-footed centre-back and has experience from Wigan Athletic, Doncaster Rovers, and AFC Fylde. Manager Ruaidhri Higgins expressed enthusiasm about Long’s attributes and hunger to succeed. The club has also added other players such as Will Patching, Joel Cooper, Stephen Fallon, and Kodi Lyons-Foster, all contributing to Coleraine’s efforts to bolster their ranks. Meanwhile, League One club Wycombe Wanderers have welcomed Northern Ireland international Caolan Lavery, with manager Mike Dodds highlighting his energy and suitability for their style of play.
