Los Angeles Man Indicted for Colorado Sex Trafficking Recruitment

Andrew Dominguez, a 36-year-old man from Los Angeles, has been indicted by a Colorado grand jury on seven counts related to organized crime and sex trafficking, including violations of the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act and attempted pimping. Beginning in early 2023, Dominguez is accused of contacting hundreds of women and underage girls online in Colorado to recruit them into his sex trafficking ring. He was arrested in California with assistance from the Denver District Attorney's investigators and federal agencies and is currently held there awaiting extradition. Authorities believe there may be more victims and are urging any additional victims to contact Investigator Joe DeAngelo in the Denver District Attorney’s Human Trafficking Unit. The indictment also includes charges of criminal impersonation, extortion, and tampering with a victim or witness. The Denver District Attorney’s Office and Colorado Attorney General emphasize their commitment to justice and community protection in handling this case.
