Alabama Lands 4-Star QB Trent Seaborn

Four-star 2027 quarterback Trent Seaborn, a 6-foot-1, 200-pound junior at Thompson High School, has verbally committed to the University of Alabama. Seaborn, who grew up in Oahu and trained regularly with Galu Tagovailoa and the Tagovailoa family, won two Class 7A state titles and threw for 2,738 yards and 26 touchdowns last season. He informed head coach Kalen DeBoer in person and was primarily recruited by Alabama quarterbacks coach Nick Sheridan, choosing the Tide over South Carolina, Miami, Clemson and Oregon. Seaborn is Alabama’s fifth commitment for the 2027 class and is viewed as a homegrown foundational piece who adds depth and promise to the Crimson Tide’s quarterback room. His pledge arrives as DeBoer’s program is surging with signature wins over ranked opponents and growing College Football Playoff momentum, reinforcing Alabama’s recent recruiting success.
