Top German Business Delegation Visits Qatar to Boost Investment

A German delegation led by North Rhine-Westphalia Premier Hendrik Wüst visited Qatar to strengthen economic ties and attract investment, particularly in energy and climate-friendly industry, holding meetings with Qatari leaders and business representatives. Meanwhile, Bangladesh and Qatar have agreed to send 725 Bangladeshi army personnel to serve in the Qatar Armed Forces, a move both sides believe will enhance bilateral military cooperation and benefit professional development. Separately, a high-level Azerbaijani defense delegation visited Qatar to discuss expanding military and technical cooperation, touring Qatari military facilities and holding talks with senior Qatari defense officials and defense industry leaders. These visits underscore Qatar's growing role as a hub for international business and defense partnerships.
