Philadelphia Man Charged with Murder in Kada Scott Homicide Case

Kada Scott, a 23-year-old nursing student from Philadelphia, was tragically found dead in a shallow grave near an abandoned school, with her death ruled a homicide by the medical examiner. Keon King, 21, who was last known to be with Scott before she disappeared after her overnight shift, has been charged with murder along with multiple other serious offenses including kidnapping, robbery, arson, firearm violations, abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence, obstruction of justice, conspiracy, and theft. Authorities linked King to Scott's disappearance and subsequent events through cell phone data and video evidence, including footage of a stolen vehicle believed to be used by King that was later set on fire and compacted at a junkyard.
