Sunrisers Hyderabad sign Harsh Dubey for injured Smaran Ravichandran

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have signed 22-year-old Vidarbha all-rounder Harsh Dubey as a replacement for Smaran Ravichandran, who was ruled out of the remainder of IPL 2025 due to injury. Dubey, acquired for Rs 30 lakh, boasts 127 wickets and 941 runs across 16 T20s, 20 List A, and 18 first-class matches. He recently earned the player of the tournament award after leading Vidarbha to the 2024/25 Ranji Trophy title with 69 wickets and 476 runs. Ravichandran, who had not played a match for SRH, had himself been a replacement for Adam Zampa, also sidelined by injury. SRH currently sit ninth in the points table with three wins from ten matches and remain mathematically in playoff contention. Their next fixture is against the Delhi Capitals on May 5 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
