Cybrid Raises $10 Million to Expand Compliant Stablecoin Infrastructure Across 150+ Countries

Cybrid, a Toronto-based fintech platform specializing in compliant stablecoin and fiat payment infrastructure, has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round led by BDC Capital’s Growth Venture Fund, with participation from Golden Ventures, Luge Capital, and Panache Ventures. The funding will be used to scale Cybrid's API-first platform, which integrates stablecoin, fiat, and compliance tools, enabling financial institutions, fintechs, and enterprises to launch cross-border payment solutions to over 150 countries at significantly reduced costs and increased transparency. CEO Avinash Chidambaram emphasized that stablecoins are becoming essential for real-time, low-cost currency movement across borders and between businesses, with stablecoin transaction volumes reaching $5.7 trillion, about 25% of card payment volume. Cybrid aims to address challenges such as high international transaction fees, slow settlements, regulatory hurdles, and fragmented payment systems by embedding compliance and risk management directly into its platform. This investment will help Cybrid expand its product offerings, regulatory partnerships, and developer ecosystem to further accelerate the adoption of stablecoins in global payments. The company’s leadership team brings extensive experience in digital payments and tokenized payment solutions, positioning Cybrid as a key player in transforming cross-border financial transactions.
