Three Charged in Willingboro Club Drive-By Killing

Three men—Kirk Williams, Robert Cardona, and Christopher Tokley—have been charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and weapons offenses for a fatal drive-by shooting outside the 609 Elite Social Club in Willingboro, New Jersey, on May 21, 2024. The suspects allegedly targeted another man present at the club, but instead, 45-year-old Major Hamilton was struck by multiple rounds fired from a dark-colored vehicle and killed. Williams and Tokley were arrested in April 2025, while Cardona was charged while already in custody for unrelated offenses. The arrests followed nearly a year-long investigation by the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and Willingboro police. The case is being prepared for presentation to a grand jury for possible indictment. Authorities remind the public that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
