Boulder-led Metro Raids Result in Arrests

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, joined by more than two dozen local, state and federal agencies, executed nine judicially approved search warrants across the Denver metro Wednesday morning beginning at 7 a.m. The warrants targeted seven residences and two storage lockers in unincorporated Boulder and Adams counties and in Denver, Westminster, Wheat Ridge, Federal Heights and Johnstown. Tactical teams, including SWAT, drug task forces and the FBI, participated in the coordinated operation; officials emphasized that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement was not involved. Authorities reported several arrests, no injuries, and that some neighborhoods were briefly placed under shelter-in-place orders that were later lifted. The case remains under seal; the 20th Judicial District Attorney’s Office said it will prosecute and will release indictments once they are unsealed and the appropriate individuals are in custody.
