Rockets, Clippers Force Game 7s in NBA Playoffs
The Houston Rockets forced a Game 7 in their first-round NBA playoff series against the Golden State Warriors with a 115-107 victory in Golden State, led by Fred VanVleet's 29 points, eight assists, and eight rebounds, as well as a double-double from Alperen Sengun. Houston will now host the decisive Game 7, aiming to become just the 14th NBA team to rally from a 3-1 deficit. The Warriors struggled offensively in the fourth quarter, missing 13 consecutive shots during a critical stretch. The winner of Rockets-Warriors will face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference semifinals. Meanwhile, the LA Clippers also forced a Game 7 against the Denver Nuggets, buoyed by strong performances from James Harden and Kawhi Leonard, and a key tactical adjustment by coach Tyronn Lue. The winner of Clippers-Nuggets will advance to play the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder.
