Multiple US Areas Lift Boil Water Notices After Pipe Repairs

Several communities have recently issued boil water notices due to infrastructure damage and water quality concerns. The City of Jayton, Texas, issued a boil water notice while conducting repairs near the library, with water restoration expected soon. Similarly, the Lilly Grove Special Utility District in Texas issued a boil water notice following a leak caused by fiber optic installation work. A & P Water Supply in Texas had previously issued a boil water notice after a fiber bore crew hit a water main, but this notice was rescinded after water quality tests confirmed safety. In Ireland, a two-week-long boil water notice for thousands of customers in the Castlerea area was lifted after water treatment plant upgrades improved water safety. Additionally, the city of Globe lifted its boil water notice following severe storms and water main bursts, confirming the water now meets safety standards.
