Jake Hansen commits to Oklahoma's 2025 basketball class

Three-star shooting guard Jake Hansen has committed to Oklahoma as part of the Sooners' 2025 men's basketball recruiting class after leading Wauwatosa West High School in Wisconsin to a state championship and setting multiple school records. Hansen, ranked No. 79 among shooting guards nationally and No. 11 in Wisconsin, chose Oklahoma over offers from Arizona State, St. John's, Buffalo, and others. He reunites with former high school teammate Kai Rogers, a four-star center and fellow 2025 OU signee. Hansen's commitment completes a four-player freshman class that also includes Alec Blair and Andreas Holst, supplementing Oklahoma's highly-ranked transfer portal additions. Head coach Porter Moser has combined high school recruits with a top-10 national transfer class in rebuilding the roster following OU’s first NCAA Tournament appearance under his leadership. With Hansen's arrival, Oklahoma has one roster spot left for the 2025-26 season.
