McLaren to exit Formula E after 2024-25 season

McLaren entered Formula E in 2022 after taking over the Mercedes EQ team, achieving moderate success, including a win and several podiums, and currently stands third in the team standings. The team, backed by NEOM and powered by Nissan, will seek a new owner and rebranding to continue in the series, as NEOM's funding is secure through 2026. Both McLaren and Formula E officials expressed confidence in the team's future presence in the championship under new management.
