Hearts SACK Neil Critchley after Dundee defeat, Liam Fox takes interim charge

Hearts have dismissed head coach Neil Critchley and his assistant Mike Garrity following a 1-0 home defeat to Dundee, marking the club's second managerial change this season. Critchley, appointed six months ago to replace Steven Naismith, was let go after a series of poor results that left the team in the Premiership's bottom six and just five points above the relegation zone with four games remaining. The loss to Dundee, a team battling relegation, was the decisive factor for the club's board. During his tenure, Critchley managed 15 wins in 35 games, but also oversaw the team's failure to reach the league's top half and a Scottish Cup semi-final exit. First-team coach Liam Fox will take interim charge for the remainder of the season. The club expressed gratitude to Critchley and Garrity for their efforts but declined to comment further.
