Bucyrus Cyclist, 64, Killed in Marion County Crash
A 64-year-old bicyclist, Jeffrey A. Arn of Bucyrus, died after being struck by a pickup truck while riding along the gravel berm of state Route 4 in Marion County. The incident occurred when Arn, traveling southbound, swerved into the roadway for reasons unknown and was hit by a Ford F150 pulling a livestock trailer, driven by Charles E. Foust. Debris from the crash also struck a trailing Ford Bronco, driven by Tabitha A. Burson, but neither she nor her two juvenile passengers were injured. The driver of the pickup truck was also uninjured. Emergency responders transported Arn to Marion General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
