Sydney Sweeney Transforms for 'Christy' London Premiere

Sydney Sweeney attended the BFI London Film Festival premiere of her boxing biopic Christy in a custom Alexander McQueen Resort 2026 pale-pink corseted silk-satin and heritage-lace gown with glass-bead and crystal embroidery, a silk bolero, pink leather skull sandals and Irene Neuwirth jewelry, styled by Molly Dickson. Sweeney gained about 30 pounds to portray boxing legend Christy Martin and said the role involved intense physical and emotional preparation. Christy premiered earlier at TIFF and has received positive early reviews, holding roughly a 72% score on Rotten Tomatoes. She arrived at the London premiere with her brother Trent Sweeney and co-star Ben Foster; critics praised the look while some called the repeated lingerie-inspired aesthetic tired. Sweeney also recently drew attention at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles.
