Multiple Crashes Across U.S. Cause Widespread Delays

Multiple separate crashes across several states over the past few days have produced major traffic disruptions, lane closures and several fatalities or injuries. In Illinois a semi-truck rollover on I-80 just west of LaGrange Road early Friday blocked the center and left lanes and sent at least one person to a local hospital. In Colorado a single-vehicle pickup towing a camper rolled on northbound I-25 near Fountain, killing one man and closing lanes in both directions, with CDOT reporting delays between US 85 and Exit 132. In Houston a fatal multi-lane crash on westbound I-10 near Waco Street left only the far-right lane open and created multi-mile backups during the morning commute. Additional incidents — including major slowdowns on eastbound I-4 in Tampa, a crash that briefly shut I-40 East in Pender County (now partially reopened), and a westbound I-10 collision near Cook Street in Thousand Palms — are also causing delays. Authorities across the affected areas say investigations and cleanup are ongoing and are urging drivers to use caution and seek alternate routes.
