Tether Launches 41B-Token Synthetic AI Dataset, Local AI App for STEM Innovation

Tether Data has launched QVAC Genesis I, the world’s largest synthetic dataset with 41 billion tokens, designed to enhance AI training in STEM fields such as mathematics, physics, biology, and medicine. This dataset aims to improve AI reasoning, problem-solving, and understanding of complex scientific concepts, addressing gaps in current open-source AI models. Alongside the dataset, Tether introduced QVAC Workbench, a cross-platform local AI application that enables users to run and interact with AI models directly on their devices, ensuring data privacy and decentralizing AI intelligence away from cloud-based platforms. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino emphasized the vision of democratizing AI by giving intelligence back to individuals and breaking the corporate monopoly on AI training data and computation. The QVAC ecosystem also envisions future integration with blockchain technology, allowing AI agents to transact autonomously using cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Tether’s stablecoin USDT. Overall, Tether's initiative challenges Big Tech dominance in AI by promoting open access, local ownership, and evolution of AI intelligence.
