The blaze, believed to have possibly started from a lithium battery, erupted in the early hours and released a substantial plume of chlorine gas, posing significant health risks. Emergency services noted that chlorine fires are difficult to control and are closely monitoring air quality. No injuries have been reported, but train services were suspended, roads blocked, and local events cancelled as a precaution.
