Rockford Debuts NASCAR Race Car April 19 at Rockingham

Rockford will be prominently featured at the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series race as Josh Bilicki drives a new race car adorned with local branding. The Chevrolet Camaro, sponsored by Rockford-based Insurance King, will showcase logos and symbols representing the city, including GoRockford, the Rockford Peaches, and other local businesses. The car's debut is set for April 19 at Rockingham Speedway in North Carolina, marking the venue's return to NASCAR after over a decade. Insurance King owner Dan Block collaborated with GoRockford to enhance visibility for both the race and the Rockford community. Bilicki expressed gratitude for the partnership, emphasizing the significance of representing Rockford on a national stage. The initiative aims to foster a sense of pride and awareness for Rockford through the sport.
