Mississippi Mother Charged in Drowning Deaths of Two Sons

Two brothers, ages 2 and 5, were found unresponsive near a backyard swimming pool at a home in Gautier, Mississippi, on Oct. 20 and were rushed to Ocean Springs Hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The Jackson County deputy coroner ruled the cause of death drowning. Their mother, 36-year-old Amber Goldman, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, and police said additional charges are possible. Jail records show she is being held on a $2,500 bond.
