Two killed, four injured in Milwaukee police chase crash
A police pursuit in Milwaukee late Wednesday night resulted in a fatal crash that left two people dead, including a 17-year-old, and several others injured. The incident began around 10:35 p.m. when officers attempted to stop a suspicious vehicle near North Hackett Avenue; the vehicle fled, leading police on a high-speed chase. The pursuit ended when the fleeing car collided with another vehicle near North 13th Street and Green Bay Avenue. Two passengers from the fleeing vehicle died at the hospital, while the 19-year-old driver was treated for injuries and subsequently arrested; two firearms were recovered from the car. The occupants of the struck vehicle, two 25-year-olds and a 24-year-old, received medical attention at the scene. The investigation is ongoing, with charges pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
