Westside Merchandising Sues Snoop Dogg Ice Cube for $1.3M Fraud Over Failed Tour Deal

Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube, members of the hip hop supergroup Mount Westmore, are involved in a legal dispute with Westside Merchandising LLC, which alleges the rappers breached a $1.375 million merchandise deal tied to a planned 60-date tour that largely did not materialize. The company accuses them of fraud and breach of contract for backing out of the tour after only three shows and failing to produce a promotional video as agreed. Both artists have sought to block their depositions, describing the requests as "harassing, oppressive, and burdensome," citing their busy schedules and claiming they have no substantive information to add. They proposed virtual depositions limited to two hours if required to appear. Westside Merchandising has opposed these efforts, accusing the rappers of stalling and requested sanctions, including court-ordered fees for delaying the proceedings. The defendants maintain their business was conducted in good faith and deny all allegations; a judge has yet to rule on the deposition dispute.
