Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection Launches Ilma

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has launched its second luxury superyacht, Ilma, which embarked on its maiden voyage from Monte Carlo to Rome on September 2, 2024. At 790 feet long, Ilma accommodates 448 guests across 224 suites, each featuring private terraces. The yacht's inaugural Mediterranean season will include stops at notable destinations like Santorini and Porto Cervo, with future plans to sail the Caribbean and Northern Europe. Ilma boasts five dining venues, including two by Michelin-starred chefs, and emphasizes a high level of service and luxury synonymous with the Ritz-Carlton brand. The design features sophisticated interiors and a Marina Terrace that enhances guest experiences near the sea. Jim Murren, the executive chairman, expressed pride in the new ship's addition, aiming to redefine standards in luxury travel at sea.
