Multiple Deadly Crashes Hit U.S. and Australia

Authorities are investigating several recent deadly crashes across the U.S. and Australia, including multiple incidents in Idaho. South of Mountain Home, Idaho, an early Saturday single-vehicle rollover of a 1987 Dodge Dakota killed a teen driver and hospitalized another teen; neither was wearing seat belts. On Oct. 23 north of Spencer on I-15, Idaho State Police say a southbound van from Lethbridge overturned; the 76-year-old passenger died at the scene and the 77-year-old driver was hospitalized. In Sullivan, New York, a three-car crash on Oct. 23 left 22-year-old Isaiah Schaub extricated and airlifted in critical but stable condition while other occupants suffered minor injuries; authorities have requested witnesses and dashcam footage. In Burrumbeet, Victoria, a collision between a car and a truck on Oct. 25 killed one female occupant, critically injured another, seriously injured two passengers, and left the car's male driver with non-life-threatening injuries; the truck driver was uninjured. Investigations remain ongoing in all cases.
