13-Year-Old Charged After Serious Stabbing in Pensby Park

A 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the back at Ridgewood Park in Pensby, Wirral, and was taken to Alder Hey Children's Hospital where he remains in serious but stable condition. A 13-year-old boy from Moreton has been charged with two counts of wounding and possession of a bladed article and has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Youth Court. Additionally, two other boys aged 15 and 13, and a 13-year-old girl, arrested in connection with the incident, have been released on bail with conditions. Police continue to appeal for information and ask residents near the scene to check their CCTV and dashcam footage to assist with the investigation. Detective Inspector Phil Ryan emphasized ongoing efforts to combat knife crime through education and community initiatives, stressing there is no place for knives in the community.
