BBC's Celebrity Traitors to Air Wednesdays, Thursdays

The BBC is launching The Celebrity Traitors, a three-week celebrity edition of The Traitors in which 19 famous contestants will compete to win £100,000 for charity. The series, filmed in the Scottish Highlands, features a star-studded cast including Stephen Fry, Tom Daley, Paloma Faith, Alan Carr, Kate Garraway, Jonathan Ross, Joe Wilkinson and others. It will air Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer. Host Claudia Winkleman said she was initially wary of a celebrity version because she wanted to keep the show intimate and found it harder to be aloof around celebrity friends, but praised the contestants’ commitment and called working with Stephen Fry a dream. The format remains the same: hidden Traitors secretly “murder” players while the Faithful try to detect and banish them before elimination.
