Two Pedestrian Crashes Reported in Nevada

A male pedestrian identified only as an 'unknown male' from Las Vegas was fatally struck by a Toyota Tacoma while crossing Glen Avenue outside a marked crosswalk near Sahara Avenue and Boulder Highway in east Las Vegas on Wednesday night. The incident occurred around 8:50 p.m., and the victim was transported to Sunrise Hospital, where he later died. Police say the driver and passenger remained at the scene, with no signs of driver impairment, and both cooperated with the investigation. This marks the 58th traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction for 2025. In a separate incident in Reno, a pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle, with neither speed nor impairment considered factors. Both cases remain under investigation by authorities.
