18-Year-Old Fatally Shot in Lorain Ohio Park

An 18-year-old male, identified by Lorain City Schools as senior Isaac Brocco Rivera, was fatally shot Saturday evening at Lakeview Park North in Lorain, Ohio. Lorain police responded around 6:44–6:45 p.m. and found the victim unresponsive inside a vehicle near the west end of the lot with an apparent gunshot wound to the head; officers began life‑saving measures before EMS transported him to Mercy Health Lorain Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Lorain Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau is treating the case as a homicide and has an active investigation underway; no suspect information has been released. Lorain City Schools said it delayed public notice at the police department’s request, has engaged its crisis team, and will provide supports for students and staff.
