Senegal Plans Major 2025 Digital Innovation and Investment Forum

Senegal is actively advancing its digital and economic development through a series of strategic initiatives and events in late 2025. The government signed partnerships to support major digital events like Dakar SLUSH'D, SIPEN by OPTIC, SALTIS, and the NEXTEN Summit, aiming to boost innovation, job creation, and investment in the digital ecosystem. Concurrently, the Invest in Senegal Forum 2025, held in early October at the Abdou Diouf International Conference Center, serves as a platform to attract global investors and promote sustainable development with the introduction of the 2025 Investment Code, which offers enhanced incentives and streamlined processes. Senegal is also focusing on bold energy projects, modern urban transport, and policies fostering digital competitiveness, including the Startup Act and the creation of national digital infrastructure. These efforts underscore Senegal's ambition to position itself as a key regional hub for responsible investment, technology, and entrepreneurship in West Africa.
