Frost Stay in Playoff Hunt With 3-0 Win
The Minnesota Frost, last season's PWHL champions, kept their playoff hopes alive with a 3-0 win over the Ottawa Charge, led by two goals from Lee Stecklein. The victory puts Minnesota one point behind Ottawa for the final playoff spot ahead of a decisive final regular season game against the Boston Fleet, where a regulation win secures their playoff berth. If Minnesota wins in overtime or a shootout, they will also need Ottawa to lose in regulation to advance. Ottawa can clinch a playoff spot with a win over Toronto or if Minnesota loses to Boston. Montreal Victoire and Toronto Specters have already locked up the top two seeds, while the New York Sirens are the only team eliminated from postseason contention. The final playoff spot will be decided by Saturday's results.
