Sanders Launches 10:33 Initiative Pilot

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders launched the 10:33 Initiative, a 12-month pilot aimed at moving roughly 300–500 Arkansans “from crisis to career” by connecting them with faith-based and community partners, advocates and state agencies. The program will operate in Pulaski, Union and Pope counties and is backed by the White House Faith Office and state agencies including the Arkansas Department of Human Services and the Department of Commerce. It will use Restore Hope’s HopeHub collaborative case-management and data-sharing platform alongside the Arkansas LAUNCH employment platform to coordinate services, referrals and job opportunities. Partners—faith groups, nonprofits, businesses and volunteers—are encouraged to support teams of advocates or donate to a mercy fund to meet urgent needs such as food, childcare and transportation while also addressing longer-term challenges like housing, healthcare, rehabilitation and employment. Officials say the pilot builds on Restore Hope’s earlier 100 Families model, which has expanded to multiple counties, and could serve as a model for broader implementation if successful.
