Shelby Elston Sues Rose Bowl After Concert Assault

Shelby Lynn Elston and her fiancé have filed a personal-injury suit in Los Angeles County Superior Court against the Rose Bowl Operating Company and alleged attacker Julio Cesar Lopez Zavala over a violent Aug. 16 Rüfüs Du Sol concert assault captured on video. Footage shows Zavala punching multiple people and knocking Elston unconscious; attorneys say she stopped breathing, required CPR and continues to suffer bruises, lacerations, possible neurological injury and thousands of dollars in medical bills.
